I just came out of my bedroom. I was stretching out a bunch on the floor. While I was doing it I realized just how much I really missed it and how I really want to do it more often. It really does change the quality of my life.
I remember when I first started stretching a lot. My life really did noticably improve. Things got better in every aspect of my life. I flourished socially, mentally, spiritually and even in my work. For awhile there I stopped stretching so much and I’m not really sure why. It used to be an almost daily habit; I would just randomly pick a time out of every day and stretch my whole body out. I don’t do it like a lot of people do I guess.. it’s not really yoga style and it’s not the fast active-isometric-passive style either.. I mainly just sit down for awhile and passively stretch. I do a little bit of an active warm up, but it’s mostly just sitting there and holding a position for about two to five minutes. It feels good every time I do it and I know I feel better afterwards.
So from now on I’m going to be stretching just as I had before. I can’t wait =)

fuckin stretching rules. it makes a big difference in how the muscles behave and the blood flows… mmmm, blood flow.
