Woo. Biggest day for ifakedit.com yet was yesterday. 10,692 Unique visitors! Woo. Definitely up from the 1000 range to which I was heading. Definitely not the biggest day bandwidth-wise, but I still served up a few gigs.
Had a digg for the apps page that made it to the front of digg, but then somehow made it off of there; not really sure what happened.. maybe just moderated off as being lame or spam by a bunch of angry Microsoft haters and FireFox lovers. Really wouldn’t surprise me I guess. I’d really like to know how the ratings system on digg works. Someone should investigate that. I’d digg it.
Anyway - despite the kick of course by then it had already gotten 500+ diggs and was propagating itself around the web.. del.icio.us, blogs, etc. Even manged to get about three or four nice comments in Chinese in addition to the many many nice ones in English. They Chinese ones say “good” “very good” and such. If you don’t believe me check out google language tools and translate it =)
Looks like I made it to the front page of some interesting Chinese sites. Even made it to a Chinese blog! And the person is an Opera lover! How cool.
And I did get one really good new suggestion on the apps page which I have since added after seeing the overwhelming amount of comments for it. Indeed folks, Irfanview is one of the coolest little programs out there.

if you guys are wondering why i have “oriental” character sets visible it’s not because i can read the characters, but so i can get someone else or a website to translate them. i can pretty easily tell the difference between chinese, japanese and korean characters at least, so i can at least know what to get them translated TO.
