Some citizens of the UK are really getting tired of the new speed cameras (SCAMeras) that have been put up around the country. Recently many cameras have been vandalized - burned, blown up or otherwise destroyed. One group, called MOTORISTS AGAINST DETECTION (MAD) states, “We are fed up with lining the pockets of police forces and councils as a stealth tax revenue raising scheme… We are not criminals, just drivers going about our daily business and we are essentially law abiding citizens.”
