- The water pressure is great
- I've modified my Speakman showerhead to not be so powerful, so I'm keeping it and not getting a new one
- We rarely run the AC or heat. I think the rest of the building running theirs really helps keep our energy costs in this little place down - although I haven't actually received a bill from Ameren yet, so I don't really know what it's going to be.
- We live right by a fire station, so we hear at least two sirens a day - probably more
- We live right on a corner of a quite busy intersection. It's a stopsign intersection and I think I've determined it's probably worse than a stoplight intersection because everyone has to stop.. so that gives much of them an opportunity to peel out from the stop sign so not only do you hear squealing tires, but also loud engines.
- The weekends here at this intersection are significantly louder than the weekdays
- We have a lot of room for how much we pay.
- We have a very good amount of natural light and don't really need to use the indoor lights
- We have a ton of counter space
- Our neighbors are pretty damn quiet
- My cellphone gets almost no reception here.. In fact I usually don't have service at all - even when I'm outside sometimes
- Our cat loves the windowsills and our big sliding glass door
- If I cook anything we have to turn on the range fan and open almost all the windows in the house because it gets so smokey
- It is noticably extremely hot at the top of this building. I'm glad we're not on the top floor for that reason.

"The weekends here at this intersection are significantly louder than the weekdays"
you sure? school is in session on the weekdays and not the weekends. and the kids freaking peel out of that parking lot and the intersection right next to us from 1100-1330. and then after school from 1420-1530. not only that, but they walk to places around here and they're usually yelling and screaming about something. maybe there's more constant noise on the weekends, but i don't think it's louder than the weekdays.

Hm, maybe you need to cimprove your cooking abilities, if its too smokey.
Especially to keep the neighboured firefighters away! ("No, Sir. No fire, just some eggs!")
