I used to have this stuff at my mom’s house that I could put on rice. They looked like sesame seeds, but they had a much sweeter taste to them. They came in this strange little bottle, I guess we got it from some asian food store, but I have no idea what it was because all the writing on it was in japanese. If you have an idea about what these were called please let me know =) they tasted really good with rice.

If it came in small glass jars w/ a plastic / tin lid then it is most likely : Furekake
