I just got new shoes! This is a big deal for me because shoes are somewhat of a hassle for me because of the cost and my pickyness with them. My old pair of black leather moccasins are still ok, but the front area is coming unlaced so water can get in… and I don’t feel all that bad about it since I know I’ve been wearing them for at least four years.
I got a pair of Merrell Polar Mocs Waterproof. They look professional, they’re black shiny leather, warm, waterproof, have killer tread and feel great on my feet. They’re also $90-100 and I got mine for $12 :D

So anyway. They’re not brand new.. I got them when I was with Lauren at Plato’s Closet. They don’t have much guy stuff there, but they have a decent selection of extremely-gently-used stuff. Amazingly I saw these and they were in my exact size. They appear to have been worn maybe once or twice.

In other news.. don’t know exactly where I’ll be going next. My first stage of is pretty much complete and it went over really well I think. I just installed a bunch of software on a Red Hat 9 box at Vignette so I could get a wiki going. Hopefully that will start to get used very soon here. Not much else.. looking at places to live in Orlando.. looks like its basically going to be 1000/mo since every bloody 2bedroom apartment listed on craigslist is exactly 1000. That’s a lot more than I’d like to pay, but it doesn’t look like there’s much of a choice.
