I’m Jesse Allen Crouch and I live in Austin, TX, USA.

I am currently employed with Vignette as a User Interface Consultant/Engineer. On the side I’m a web entrepreneur.

I specialize in making easily-maintainable, simple, and very usable websites. I currently prefer to program using Ruby on Rails for my web applications. Lately my focus is more on the web in general and having expertise in a broad range of technologies. My goal is not to work on the web, but to shape it.

I like biking, barefoot running, various martial arts, bodyweight exercises, informative and persuasive writing, reading and researching non-fiction - particularly economics and history, cooking, watercolor painting, pen and ink drawing, photography, pastels drawing, chalk drawing, pencil drawing, glass etching, lithosketching, computer art, arting in general, libertarianism, domes, writing, programming, designing databases, webdesigning.. I used to sing and play quite a few instruments too, but it’s been quite awhile since I did all that.
